Recently I experienced issue with S_RFC authorization object. I am writing this Blog to share information and experience that if S_RFC object is maintained as Proposal YES even then this object is not got pulled in Authorization in PFCG. Below are the screen shots for reference.
Authorization Object S_RFC is associated with Function module and not with Transactions. Below screen shot of SU24 is showing relationship of authorization object with function module.
If you select option Transaction in SU24 there you can see that there are maximum No are in proposal. There are some transactions maintained as Yes, If you try to add those in Menu, object S_RFC will not got pulled in authorization.
But S_RFC will get called with Function module only below are the screen shots for your reference. For that in PFCG need to select authorization default and select function module.
Benefit of this is once object got pulled in authorization it comes with default value required to call for that function module.
Same will be the case of S_SERVICE.
